Dunoe 'bout Guantanamo - Thomas Deacon Academy
Close Guantanamo. Protect The Human. Be The Human.
Dunoe 'bout Guantanamo?
Too many people don't know about the heinous activity which has taken place and continues to take place at the Guantanamo Bay Prison Facility in Cuba.
We wish to raise awareness of these issues and help fight for the freedom of the innocent who are wrongly detained without trial at this centre of torture.
We also aim to raise awareness of how Amnesty International is helping in this fight for freedom and bringing justice to the system.

Safiyyah's Views...

People are being held without trial. They are suffering torture and pain as they are wrongly accused. Injustice seeps out of Guantanamo Bay to such an extent that the violation of human rights is truly disgusting. No one knows when this will come to an end unless people globally take action. From days and weeks, they have now been imprisoned for months. People are facing unjust treatment. Fathers, brothers, uncles and cousins are being held in unreasonable conditions in prisons in Guantanamo Bay. People are struggling for freedoms such as freedom of speech. Views and opinions are not shared and taken into account and people are living their lives unfairly.
Victims of Guantanamo Bay and struggling and striving for freedom away from these harsh conditions they are currently facing. Severe torture and extreme violence whilst being held without a reason. Currently injustice is experienced in Guantanamo Bay and needs to be brought to a halt. Inequality and unfairness is roaming throughout Guantanamo Bay and can only be stopped with the help of people who are willing to strive for and fight for these freedoms, such as organisations like Amnesty International.
